CONSORZIO AGRARIO TREVISO E BELLUNO

Description

Thanks to its excellent organization, the Consorzio Agrario di Treviso e Belluno Soc. Coop. presents itself as a structure aimed at giving irreplaceable support to the agricultural world at a time when the food supply chain is rightly regulated by strict laws and regulations to protect both the health of producers and end consumers, human and animal.

From the Castagnole headquarters, established at 56 Feltrina Street since 2006, depends all the support and assistance service to the sales network. It is not only about selling, but also about providing financing and economic facilities, without neglecting the insurance and social security sector through highly trained specific personnel, who can offer all-round advice in a correct and reliable manner.

At times it involves working synergistically with trade associations for reciprocal orientations that allow them to keep pace with progressive evolution; however, there is no shortage of contacts with foreign countries as well, demonstrating a presence that is amplified without giving up its territorial significance. There are about 2,500 members of the Consortium, all strictly farmers, that is, workers of the land in any capacity-a veritable army that makes use of a flattering business network.

There are a total of 32 outlets scattered throughout the provinces of Treviso and Belluno, selling a variety of products, from seeds to fertilizers, from pesticides to products for the home, garden and floriculture, from automotive and heating fuels to lubricants, from feed and grains to organic animal feeds, from agricultural machinery and equipment to spare parts for the same and for industrial machinery, from vineyard and olive grove systems; from the used car center to consulting, financial and insurance services.

The presence of 12 workshops allows adequate assistance in case of mechanical breakdowns of both agricultural and earthmoving motorized vehicles. They make use of specialized technicians, some of whom are employees of the Consortium and some of whom are contracted freelancers.
Finally, for animals in Bibano di Godega Sant’Urbano (TV), the Consortium runs a feed mill capable of producing more than 700,000 quintals of processed products annually.
More than a century later, therefore, Consortia, like that of Treviso and Belluno, have the merit of keeping love for the land alive, proving to be a surety in favor of the production of genuine products, in the sign of the best tradition.
