CONSORZIO DI TUTELA DEL RADICCHIO ROSSO DI TREVISO IGP E VARIEGATO DI CASTELFRANCO IGP

The Consortium for the Protection of Radicchio Rosso di Treviso and Variegato di Castelfranco was established in 1996 following the publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities of Reg. (EC) 1263/96, which recognized the protected geographical indication for Radicchio Rosso di Treviso and in Radicchio Variegato di Castelfranco.

The Consortium-as expressly stated in the statutes-has the function of protection, promotion, enhancement, consumer information and general care of the interests related to the PGI denomination.
