The love and dedication for our work, cannot be separated from the awareness that we consider ourselves truly lucky people. Lucky to be able to love and contribute to the beauty of this territory, both through our own daily work and through the enhancement of the places of the Alta Marca Trevigiana that still surprise us today, every single time we contemplate them.
The Giardino Vineyard represents the origin of everything: it was 1920 when it was purchased, in Colbertaldo, by Abele Adami, but its historical roots go back at least to the 1700s. A fascination for the eyes, in its presentation as a viticultural amphitheater naturally facing south. It is probably the first example of Prosecco from a single vineyard in the entire appellation: it was presented at the 1stMostra dei Vini Tipici d’Italia, held in Siena August 3-19, 1933, as “Riva Giardino Asciutto.” The vines cling to chestnut poles, winding their way through parallel rows with the nervous gait typical of these slopes. Unceasing and tenacious care has always enhanced the “cru” vocation of this vineyard. Since 2009, the rootstocks destined for the hillside are taken from Vigneto Giardino: more than 1,000 each year, to preserve viticultural biodiversity. A production that best expresses the concept that Adami likes to call “fruit salad”: the complex but immediate and non-repetitive sensation in the nose of a case of fresh fruit.
