Building on a long family winemaking tradition, Marika Drusian decides to establish her own winery in 2003. The first hectares of vineyards on the Ru de Confin estate, near Vittorio Veneto (TV), are purchased and replanted. In 2006 the winemaking cellar becomes operational. Today the winery processes the grapes grown on its 13 hectares of property, paying particular attention to the quality aspect and to practicing sustainable viticulture.
Meticulous attention to detail, typical of female management, are a distinctive feature of Althea Winery. Here nothing is left to chance, from the care of individual bunches of grapes to the design of the final bottle. Quality and refinement, an indissoluble pair that distinguishes Althea wines in the Italian and international wine scene.
