Dedication to their craft and love for their land have made the Vedova family one of the largest and best-known wine producers in the Valdobbiadene area. The family business began in the 1950s. The great experience accumulated over time has meant that the winemaking tradition has been married, today, with new technologies, to produce a wine of ever higher quality and meet the taste of the most refined connoisseurs.

Vedova wineries are located in the heart of the Marca Trevigiana, in Valdobbiadene, in the area where the famous Prosecco Docg di Valdobbiadene e Conegliano is produced.

Several types of Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Prosecco DOC are produced under the Vedova brand. Among the former, we also find the sought-after Rive and Superiore di Cartizze.

For the production of Rive, the grapes, harvested strictly by hand, come from only one commune, and cultivation is reduced to 13 tons per hectare. The bottles bear the vintage (the year in which the grapes from which it was made were harvested).

Superiore di Cartizze, the flagship of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG, is vinified from grapes harvested in an extremely limited area (107 hectares) on steep hills terraced with vineyards.
As part of the Prosecco DOC, Vedova offers DOC Extra Dry, DOC Treviso Frizzante, DOC Frizzante and Tranquillo.
