LA VIGNA DEL NESPOLO by Luisa Bortolomiol

La Vigna del nespolo is a project of Luisa Bortolomiol in which passions of the heart, deep personal convictions and the spirit of a tradition not to be lost are expressed: the one started by her father Giuliano back in 1946. From that tradition Luisa cannot escape but wants to continue it with a new vision linked to the future of the territory and the hills. A vision that has as its principle respect for the environment, for a viticulture that returns to natural rhythms, that is without pesticides, without chemical fertilizers and that returns to the grapes the genuine flavors of the earth without contamination. A difficult road without sure results and burdened with agronomic and administrative attentions that are crucial to pursue and maintain organic certification of grapes and wine.

In 2015, having obtained the exclusive ownership of one and a half hectares of the family vineyard, in the most vocated area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Docg and already cultivated organically for a few years, Luisa decided to personally follow it starting from the land: from the work in the countryside to the creation of an exclusive bottle. The idea is to make a Valdobbiadene Docg in purity: obtained from grapes whose origin comes only from Valdobbiadene and made only with grapes from the Vigna del Nespolo.
