The municipality of Santa Lucia di Piave hosts the Santa Lucia Fair every year, a historic event that re-enacts the setting up of a 14th-century market to re-enact the ancient exchanges of wool, cloth and livestock. The singular experience of this ancient tradition is the use of fourteenth-century currency.
In addition to this, the city bears the honors of Blessed Fra’ Claudio Granzotto, who was born and lived in Santa Lucia di Piave where he worked as a renowned artist and sculptor who was proclaimed Blessed by Pope John Paul on Nov. 20, 1994.
