Known as Little Venice or the Urbs Picta (painted city), Treviso is a city that enchants visitors with the blue of its waters, the green of its gardens, and the red brick of its medieval houses.
Walking through the streets of the city, adorned with the numerous frescoes, it will be possible to admire: the 14th-century church of S. Nicolò, the Hall of the Chapter of the Dominicans, frescoed in 1352 by the extraordinary Tomaso da Modena, and the church of S. Francesco, rich in works of art and the funeral monuments of Dante’s son.
In addition to these attractions we also find the Palazzo dei Trecento, a centuries-old symbol of the city center’s independence, Piazza dei Signori, and the Fountain of Boobs.
