Montello Rosso DOCG is an important and structured red wine produced on the hills of Montello, in the heart of the Marca Trevigiana. This area, historically devoted to viticulture, is particularly suited to the cultivation of red grapes, thanks to clayey, well-exposed soils that give wines with great body and personality.
Montello Rosso is made from a blend of international grape varieties: mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Carmenère, carefully vinified and aged for a long time, often in wooden barrels, to enhance complexity.
Intense ruby red in color, the nose offers notes of berries, ripe cherries, spices, tobacco and light nuances of vanilla. In the mouth it is full, soft but with good tannins, and a long aromatic persistence.
It is a wine for meditation or great pairings: ideal with red meats, game, roasts and aged cheeses.
